I live in two worlds: the digitally connected world of modern medical practice, and the woods of Western Massachusetts.
About
My work is now informed by over 35 years of study and practice as a psychologist and theater director, and as someone who consciously seeks connection with the natural world. I believe in being the change I wish to see in the world. Humor, laughter, creativity, and hard work are important to me. I live in two worlds: the digitally connected world of modern medical practice, and the woods of Western Massachusetts. I find the most balance in my life when I reside in the deep woods. I enjoy stacking wood for my woodstove, helping my children build and maintain their homes, and creating useful and beautiful solutions for storage and living in small spaces.
I love working with both men and women. I work with men who wouldn’t normally go into therapy. I work with people who have challenges in their relationships, challenges in their lives, depression, anxiety, and stress-related medical conditions. I am a woodsman, pioneer, rebel, visionary, and adventurer; I am a highly practical, engaging, and "kick-ass" therapist.
